Like many, I grew up with a camera in my hand, but my appreciation of photography as an artistic medium really began at the age of 22 when I turned a small bedroom into a darkroom and realized that capturing an image was the beginning of the process, not the end. I shot 35mm, medium format and 4 X 5. Over 40+ years photography has been a hobby, an avocation, a passion. Now, that I'm retired from my professional life, I approach photography with a renewed energy, a more distinct style, and a greater sense of what I wish to communicate with my images.
I shoot with a Canon 5D MK IV and process all my images with Photoshop and Lightroom...the transition from film to memory cards and from the darkroom to the computer has made a world of difference - never run out of film and no more smell of acetic acid!

I live in Vero Beach with my wife Bonita and our dog Ben. Life is good!
